Elmore Leonard

Elmore Leonard has written more than forty novels, including bestsellers "Out of Sight," "Hombre," "Rum Punch," "Up in Honey's Room," "The Hot Kid," "Mr. Paradise," "Tishomingo Blues," "Pagan Babies," and "Glitz". Twenty-six of Leonard's novels and short stories have been adapted for the screen, including  "Killshot," "Get Shorty," "Be Cool," and "Out of Sight".

In 1992, Leonard received a Grand Master Edgar award from the Mystery Writers of America. In 2008, Leonard received the F. Scott Fitzgerald Literary Award for outstanding achievement in American literature. In May 2011, Leonard received the Peabody Award at the Waldorf Astoria for FX's "Justified." The National Book Association honored Leonard with its 2012 Medal for Distinguished Contribution to American Letters.

He lives with his wife, Christine, in Bloomfield Village, Michigan.
